Police looking for 2 people in connection with stolen vehicle in Vershire

VERSHIRE — Police are continuing to investigate the theft of a motor vehicle from a private residence in Vershire.

The vehicle was recovered on October 11, after it crashed in Williamstown.

Barre City Police Department and Vermont State Police Berlin responded to that incident.

The individuals in possession of the vehicle at the time of the crash are not believed to be the same people who stole the vehicle from the home.

Troopers identified one of the people of interest in the initial theft as Dahlia Arnold, of Barre.

The second person’s identity is still unknown, and the Vermont State Police is asking for the public’s assistance.

Anyone with information about the identity of the unknown person is asked to contact Trooper Evan Johnson from the St. Johnsbury Barracks at 802-748-3111.
