HENNIKER –– The Henniker Police Department is seeking the public’s help to identify the operators of a light green and white dirt bike and a matching four-wheeler, following multiple complaints about reckless driving and damage to roads in Henniker and Weare.

Police have received several reports about the pair, one of whom had a passenger, driving recklessly and damaging roads.

The vehicles were spotted on Craney Pond Road, a track not approved for trail riding.

Despite efforts to intercept the vehicles, a police cruiser was unable to continue pursuit on the class 6 road.

Local authorities urge anyone with information about the identity of the drivers to come forward, so charges can be pressed.

The acts of these individuals are tarnishing the reputation of the off-roading community, who wish to continue enjoying the trail system responsibly.

Those with any relevant information are encouraged to contact Henniker Police Station.
