Driver passed out behind wheel in West Rutland arrested for DUI

RUTLAND — A 28-year-old man from Sudbury was arrested for DUI following an incident in West Rutland yesterday.

Authorities say they were notified of a suspicious vehicle with the driver passed out behind the wheel at the intersection of Walker Mountain Road and Schoolhouse Hill Road, at around 9:00 p.m.

Police say they located the vehicle in the middle of the intersection.

The driver was identified as Eden Netelkos.

Throughout the interaction with Netelkos, police say they observed indicators of impairment.

He was administered standardized field sobriety tests and taken into custody for DUI.

He was processed and released on a citation to appear in court for the charge.
