ALTON –– A 21-year-old Wolfeboro woman was arrested Tuesday, for reckless operation after allegedly forcing other vehicles off the road while speeding and passing cars in the breakdown lane on Route 11.

Trooper Eric Call was patrolling east on Route 11 around 2:50 p.m. when he observed a green Subaru traveling west at a high speed.

The vehicle was reportedly clocked at 70 mph in a 55 mph zone and passed three other vehicles in the breakdown lane.

Two of the cars had to take evasive action to avoid a collision with the Subaru, which may have made contact with one of them.

After stopping the vehicle, a passing motorist informed Call that the Subaru had tried to run her off the road.

The driver of the Subaru was identified as Hannah S. Kimball.

Following a roadside investigation, Kimball was arrested and transported to the New Durham Police Department.

She was processed and released on bail, with a court date set for Dec. 14.
