MORRISTOWN — A 33-year-old woman from Burlington was arrested on a warrant in Morristown on Sunday.
Police say they initiated a traffic stop on Brooklyn Street after observing a minor motor vehicle violation at around 9:40 p.m.
A passenger in the vehicle was identified as Jillian Peets.
Peets was found to have a warrant for her arrest issued out of Lamoille County on September 14, for misdemeanor possession of a controlled substance.
She was lodged at Chittenden County Correctional Center for lack of bail.
