Man arrested in Plymouth for possession of stolen vehicle

PLYMOUTH –– A 45-year-old man from West Hartford, Connecticut was arrested on October 16, after Plymouth Police Department located a stolen 2023 Ford Bronco in a Wal-Mart parking lot, a vehicle originally reported missing from South Burlington, Vermont.

Officers conducting surveillance saw the suspect enter the stolen vehicle and apprehended him without further incident.

He was charged with receiving stolen property and being a fugitive from justice.

In addition to his local charges, the suspect has multiple extraditable warrants out of Bennington for petit larceny, first offense identity theft, and false pretenses or false tokens.

He also has non-extraditable warrants from Michigan and Indiana for vehicle theft, and from Ohio for failure to appear on a charge of stolen property.

Following his arrest, the suspect was held on preventative detention and transported to Grafton County Jail, where he is awaiting arraignment.
