Single-vehicle crash with injuries in Rupert

RUPERT — A 72-year-old man from Dorset was involved in a single-vehicle crash in Rupert yesterday.

The crash took place on Vermont Route 30 at around 6:15 p.m.

Police say they located the vehicle in a field with heavy damage when they arrived.

According to the report, Noel Dydo was traveling south when the vehicle crossed the center line exiting the road off the northbound shoulder.

The vehicle went through a field and some live wire fence before coming to an uncontrolled rest.

Dydo sustained minor injuries and was transported to SVMC while the vehicle sustained totaling damage.
