Man arrested in Randolph, NH for reckless operation

RANDOLPH –– A New Jersey man was arrested on Sunday for allegedly driving at nearly double the speed limit on a New Hampshire highway.

Sergeant Garrett Rella of the New Hampshire State Police Troop F Barracks reportedly spotted a 2021 black BMW with New Jersey registration traveling eastbound on Route 2 in Randolph at 108 mph in a 55 mph zone around 11:59 a.m. on October 15.

The driver was identified as Naga Venkata Nitesh Kumar Bangaru, 28, of Parsippany, New Jersey.

Bangaru was charged with Reckless Operation under New Hampshire’s RSA 265:79 law.

After his arrest, Bangaru was released on personal recognizance bail.

He is scheduled for arraignment in Berlin District Court at a later date.
