Traffic stop leads to arrest in Lyndon

LYNDON — A 58-year-old man from Concord was arrested following an incident in Lyndon on Friday.

Police say they observed a vehicle with several equipment violations traveling south on US 5 at around 2:50 p.m.

Police say they followed the vehicle and conducted a traffic stop shortly after.

Contact was made with the driver, identified as Daniel Poulin.

Police say that Poulin’s driver’s license was suspended and that he was actively violating several of his conditions of release.

Troopers also observed several signs of impairment.

He was taken into custody and transported to the Vermont State Police St. Johnsbury barracks for processing.

He was cited to appear in court on February 5 for the charges of DUI drug, and violation of conditions of release.
