Montpelier convenience store robbed at gunpoint

MONTPELIER –– A downtown convenience store was robbed at gunpoint by an unidentified male suspect on Thursday, October 12, according to the Montpelier Police Department.

The incident occurred around 8:31 p.m. when an unidentified man entered the shop, threatened the clerk with a firearm, and demanded cash and other items. The suspect fled the scene before the police arrived.

The Montpelier Police Department is urging anyone with information about the suspect to contact Detective Sergeant Jeff Pearson.
