Bethlehem man arrested for second-degree assault, weapon charges

LANDAFF –– A 55-year-old Bethlehem man has been arrested on multiple charges, including second-degree assault and possession of a deadly weapon, according to the New Hampshire State Police.

On October 9, Richard Knight was taken into custody following an investigation into a shooting incident.

In addition to the second-degree assault charge, Knight was also charged with being a felon in possession of a deadly weapon and reckless conduct with a deadly weapon.

Following the arrest, Knight was held at the Grafton County House of Corrections on preventative detention.

On October 11, he posted a $1,000 cash bail and was released.

The investigation was conducted by both uniformed patrol and the detective bureau of the New Hampshire State Police.
