Claremont police recover 3 stolen vehicles

CLAREMONT –– Three stolen vehicles were recovered by Claremont police on the morning of October 8. The theft occurred earlier that day with two vehicles taken from a local parking garage and one from Pearl Street.

Investigations have revealed that five individuals, who arrived in a stolen vehicle from Burlington, are the main suspects. Surveillance footage has confirmed their presence in the area where they appeared to be meticulously searching for unlocked cars.

The Claremont Police Department is now seeking the public’s assistance in identifying these suspects. Attached photographs of the alleged thieves have been released in hopes that someone might recognize them.

In light of the recent thefts, the police department is reminding residents to lock their cars at night and to avoid leaving any valuables inside.
