Manchester resident on escape status after failing to return from work shift

MANCHESTER –– The New Hampshire Department of Corrections has placed minimum-security resident Jacob Maciaszek on escape status as of 8:15 p.m. Saturday, October 7.

The 32-year-old was reported missing after failing to return to the Calumet House Transitional Housing Unit following his work shift on Gay Street.

Maciaszek, a white male standing 5 feet 9 inches tall and weighing 145 pounds, was last seen riding a lime green bicycle.

He has brown hair, hazel eyes, and tattoos on the inside of his left arm. His attire at the time of escape included a black helmet and baseball hat, a gray hooded Red Sox sweatshirt, blue jeans, and black sneakers with white soles.

The missing resident is serving time for burglary and receiving stolen property. He was scheduled for parole eligibility on February 11, 2024, with a maximum release date set for August 15, 2026.

The Department of Corrections urges anyone with information about Maciaszek’s whereabouts to contact Investigator Eli Navarro at (603) 573-6359 or their local police department.
