BRANDON — A 27-year-old woman from Pennsylvania was involved in a single-vehicle crash in Brandon yesterday.
The crash took place on Gap Road at around 8:55 p.m.
Police identified the driver as Tiemeng Ma, of State College, PA.
According to the report, Ma was traveling west on Gap Road when she lost control of her vehicle, left the road, and hit a guardrail.
The passengers in the vehicle were identified as Shixiong Jing, 26, and Tixin Xu, 27, both of State College, PA.
Xu sustained injuries and was transported to Rutland Regional Medical Center for further evaluation.
Troopers were assisted on the scene by members of the Brandon Police Department, Brandon Regional Rescue Squad, and Brandon Fire Department.
