HUNTINGTON — A Maryland man died Thursday on the Burrows Trail on Camel’s Hump, after suffering what authorities believe to be a medical event.

Mark Seidel, 53, of Centerville, Maryland, was found unresponsive by multiple agencies that rushed to the scene around 3:11 p.m.

Family members present at the scene identified him.

Despite life-saving measures, Seidel was pronounced dead. The incident doesn’t appear suspicious, according to the Vermont State Police.
