Kimball Hill sidewalk defaced with swastika

PUTNEY –– A swastika drawn on a concrete sidewalk has prompted an investigation by the Windham County Sheriff’s Office, according to a report received on October 2, 2023.

The offensive symbol, found in the town of Putney, was apparently drawn with a carrot. The individual or individuals responsible remain unidentified.

Deputy Thomas Raymond is leading the investigation into the unexpected act of vandalism.

The Windham County Sheriff’s Office is asking anyone who might have relevant information or video recordings to come forward.

The Windham County Sheriff’s Office has made no further comments on the ongoing investigation.
