Bedford man arrested for threatening resident with firearm in Manchester

MANCHESTER –– A Bedford man was arrested Monday for criminal threatening with a deadly weapon after he allegedly threatened a Manchester resident with a firearm.

The incident occurred when the victim discovered Edwin Jimenez and two other individuals sitting on his car.

After being asked by the victim to get off his vehicle, Jimenez allegedly kicked the car, pulled out a gun, pointed it at the victim and threatened him verbally.

Thanks to a detailed description provided by the victim and the swift response of the Manchester Police, Jimenez was promptly located and apprehended. He now faces charges for criminal threatening with a deadly weapon.

The Manchester Police Department commends the victim for their accurate description of the suspect, which greatly assisted in the speedy arrest.
