Motorcyclist fatally collides with ambulance in Nashua

NASHUA — A motor vehicle collision involving an ambulance and a motorcycle claimed the life of a Nashua resident late Thursday night, September 28, prompting an ongoing investigation by local authorities.

The Nashua Police Department responded to the scene at 11:30 p.m. at the intersection of Kinsley Street and Ash Street.

The victim, identified as 36-year-old Frederick Lassor of Nashua, was operating a motorcycle on Ash Street when he entered Kinsley Street and collided with the side of an ambulance.

Lassor was promptly treated on the scene by paramedics and officers before being transported to a local hospital. Despite the immediate medical attention and wearing a helmet at the time of the crash, Lassor succumbed to his injuries.

The Nashua Police Accident Reconstruction Unit, along with detectives, are diligently working to further the investigation into the fatal incident.
