Manchester man arrested for threatening with a gun

MANCHESTER –– A 31-year-old man from Manchester was arrested by local police on September 28, in connection with a threat involving a firearm earlier this month.

The police identified the man as Marsalis Johnson, a convicted felon, who allegedly got involved in a verbal dispute between a woman and another unidentified individual on September 11.

According to the police report, when the woman’s brother intervened, Johnson purportedly made a threat and pointed a gun at him.

Following a thorough investigation, police issued warrants for Johnson’s arrest, charging him with Criminal Threatening with a Deadly Weapon and Felon in Possession of a Dangerous Weapon.

Johnson is scheduled for arraignment today in Hillsborough Superior Court-North.
