DUI charges after vehicle found off road in Mendon

MENDON — A 51-year-old woman from Rutland was arrested for DUI following an incident in Mendon yesterday.

Authorities say they were notified of a vehicle off the road on Freds Lane at around 10:45 p.m.

While speaking with the driver, identified as Ingrid Gregory, police say they detected signs of impairment.

Gregory was taken into custody for driving under the influence.

She was transported to the Vermont State Police Rutland barracks for processing and released on a citation to appear in court to answer for the charge of DUI at a later time and date.
