Elmore man facing multiple charges after threatening with gun

ELMORE — A 42-year-old man is facing multiple charges following an incident in Elmore yesterday.

Authorities say they were notified of a dispute on Ward Road at around 7:20 p.m.

Police allege that Thomas Borello, of Elmore, arrived at the home and threatened the occupants with a gun.

The occupants were able to disarm Borello and then he fled the scene prior to their arrival.

Borello was later located and taken into custody with the assistance of the Morristown Police Department.

He was transported to the Morristown Police Department for processing.

Borello was later held without bail and lodged at the St. Johnsbury Correctional Facility.

He faces charges of burglary, attempted kidnapping, domestic assault, agg. assault, criminal threatening, and reckless endangerment.
