Driver arrested for DUI #2 in Williamstown

WILLIAMSTOWN — A 59-year-old man was arrested for his second DUI following an incident in Williamstown yesterday.

Police say they observed a minor motor vehicle violation and conducted a motor vehicle stop on Chelsea Road at around 9:15 p.m.

Police identified the driver as Craige D. Tassie, of Williamstown.

While speaking with Tassie, police say, indicators of impairment were detected.

Tassie was taken into custody for suspicion of DUI and transported to the State Police Berlin barracks for processing.

He was issued a citation to appear in court and released.
