BERLIN — Troopers say they busted up a road race taking place in Berlin yesterday.
Police say they observed a yellow Corvette and white BMW sedan racing and traveling at an extremely high rate of speed on Vermont Route 62 in Berlin yesterday.
Police initiated a traffic stop on the yellow Corvette.
The driver, identified as Samuel Mattson, 30, of Marshfield, was issued a citation to appear in court at a later date and time for negligent operation.
The other driver fled the scene.
