Woman arrested for possession of narcotics in Clarendon

CLARENDON — A 30-year-old woman was arrested following an incident in Clarendon yesterday.

Authorities say they responded to a residence at around 5:30 p.m.

Police say a woman was located and taken into custody.

A search of the suspect’s person yielded suspected narcotics.

Police say Tiana Maranville grabbed the narcotics and attempted to hide them.

Maranville was placed under arrest and a search of her person yielded the suspected narcotics.

She was transported to the Rutland State Police barracks for processing and issued a citation to appear in court to answer the charges of possession of a depressant and hindering arrest.
