Motorcyclist dies in Wentworth accident, investigation ongoing

WENTWORTH –– A 61-year-old man died following a motorcycle crash on East Side Road on Monday, Sept. 17, around 11:50 a.m., according to New Hampshire State Police.

The victim, identified as Herbert Christian Link Jr. of Plymouth, was riding a red 1984 Kawasaki motorcycle when he apparently lost control while making a left turn, causing him to be thrown from the bike.

No other vehicles were involved in the incident, police said.

Emergency responders from the Wentworth Fire Department, along with state troopers from the Troop F Barracks, were dispatched to the scene.

Link was transported to Speare Memorial Hospital in Plymouth, where he was later pronounced dead despite life-saving efforts by EMS personnel.

Link’s next of kin have been notified.

The crash remains under investigation and anyone with information is asked to contact Trooper Michael Bruno.
