DUI crash with injuries in Mendon

MENDON — A 62-year-old man from Killington was involved in a crash in Mendon on Monday.

The single-vehicle crash took place into a pole in the area of Park Lane on US 4 at around 7:45 p.m.

Police say they located the vehicle at a position of uncontrolled rest on top of a pillar of a business sign that it had struck and knocked over.

While speaking with the driver, Jonathan P. Quidore, police say they detected signs of impairment.

The vehicle had driven off the road, while heading east, struck a mile marker post, then struck a business sign post destroying it before continuing and striking a power pole causing damage.

The vehicle finally came to rest after striking another business sign and destroying it.

Police say this crash spanned across multiple properties.

Quidore was transported by Regional Ambulance Service to RRMC.

At RRMC, Quidore was screened further for DUI and processed.

He was released on a citation to appear in court.
