Hampton woman missing, police seek public’s help

HAMPTON –– A local woman has been reported missing, and authorities are seeking public assistance in locating her.

Ashley Hammerle, 28, was last seen between noon and 1 p.m. on Sept. 8, 2023, in the area of 2nd Street in Hampton.

She was walking southbound on foot and hasn’t been seen or heard from since then. Her family is concerned for her safety.

Hammerle is described as a white female, standing 5 feet 6 inches tall and weighing about 135 pounds. She has blue eyes, brown hair and wears corrective glasses.

When last seen, she was wearing a black or dark blue tank top with floral patterns and khaki shorts.

In addition to her physical description, Hammerle has several distinctive tattoos: a flower on her left shoulder, a heart/angel on her left wrist and a cross on her right ankle, among others.

Hampton police are urging anyone with information on Hammerle’s whereabouts or any other details about the case to contact them at 603-929-4444.
