Manchester melee results in 10 arrests, two stabbing injuries

MANCHESTER –– On September 9, a melee in the streets of Manchester led to the arrest of 10 individuals and left two women with non-life-threatening stab wounds.

According to the Manchester Police Department, the two female victims arrived separately at Elliot Hospital around 6 p.m. with stab wounds.

Investigators determined both injuries stemmed from the same incident.

Witness reports indicate that a large gathering at the intersection of Auburn and Cedar Streets led to a physical altercation between two males.

As the conflict escalated, additional individuals became involved, including a female who reportedly began swinging a hatchet.

The two female victims were struck during the course of the incident.

Those arrested in connection with the incident are:

• Angelina Marie Gagne, 19, charged with First Degree Assault and Felony Riot.
• David Mekkelsen, 20, Gavin Christo, 20, Kristin Vieira, 39, Liam Adams, 18, David Lafond, 19, Owen Rood, 18, and Debra Cruz, 42, all of Manchester, each charged with Felony Riot.
• Scott Rood, 24, of Nottingham, charged with Felony Riot.
• Madison Rood-Parker, 18, of Manchester, charged with Felony Riot.

The investigation into the melee is ongoing.
