Man arrested in Wells River

WELLS RIVER — A 45-year-old man from Corinth was arrested following an incident in Wells River today.

Police say they observed a man that had a 24-hour court-ordered curfew on Route 302, near P and H Truck Stop, at around 11:05 a.m.

Upon making contact, police say the man was identified as David Gilmore.

Gilmore ran from troopers and was apprehended shortly after.

He was arrested and transported to the St. Johnsbury State Police barracks for processing.

He was transported to the Northeast Regional Correctional Facility for lack of $2,600 bail.
