Man arrested for assault in Clarendon

CLARENDON — A 26-year-old man from Rutland was arrested following an incident in Clarendon today.

Authorities say they were notified of a family fight that occurred at a location at around 3:05 p.m.

Police allege that Todd Norton caused physical injury to a family or household member.

Norton was taken into custody and transported to the State Police barracks in Rutland for processing.

He was lodged in Marble Valley Regional Correctional Facility and held without bail until his arraignment yesterday.

He is charged with first-degree aggravated domestic assault and unlawful mischief.
