ST. ALBANS — Police responded to a two-vehicle crash in St. Albans yesterday.
The crash took place on I-89 north at around 2:30 p.m.
According to the report, Austin Cain, 27, of Swanton, swerved from the left lane into Alexis Getchell, 19, of Swanton, in the right lane.
Police say Cain’s phone fell down toward his feet.
Cain took his eyes off the road and then the collision happened.
The road was briefly closed but was re-opened in short order.
