SHELDON — A 35-year-old man was arrested following an incident in Sheldon on Friday.
Authorities say they were notified of an active, physical family fight on Duffy Hill Road at around 11:50 p.m.
Following an investigation, police allege that Jeffrey Nichols, of Sheldon, caused bodily injury to a household member in the presence of a child.
He was taken into custody and transported to the Vermont State Police St. Albans barracks.
He was lodged at the Northwest State Correctional Facility.
