Moped rider hospitalized after collision with car in Manchester

MANCHESTER –– A 32-year-old man was hospitalized after his moped collided with a car at the intersection of Canal and Mechanic Streets late Wednesday night, according to Manchester Police.

Officers responded to the scene at approximately 10:10 p.m. on September 6, where they found the moped driver lying on the ground, conscious but disoriented.

He was transported to the hospital for treatment of non-life-threatening injuries.

The driver of the car, a 23-year-old woman, was unharmed in the collision.

Manchester Police are investigating the cause of the accident.
