Police looking for motorcyclist involved in hit-and-run in Fairfax

FAIRFAX — Police are investigating a crash that took place in Fairfax today.

Authorities say they were notified that a motorcycle had intentionally struck, and damaged, a motor vehicle passenger side mirror on I-89 north at around 4:30 p.m.

The victim was identified as Thomas Grace, 71, of Fairfax.

Police say Grace described the motorcycle to be a white motorcycle with possible handlebar damage on the left side that was last seen heading north on I-89.

Anyone who may have witnessed this incident or has information that may identify the individual responsible is asked to reach out to the Vermont State Police-Williston barracks at 802-878-7111.
