Medical emergency causes single-vehicle rollover crash in Charlotte

CHARLOTTE — A 26-year-old woman from Huntington was involved in a single-vehicle rollover crash in Charlotte yesterday.

The crash took place on Hinesburg Road at around 5:50 p.m.

According to the report, Sarah Williams was traveling west on Hinesburg Road and appeared to experience a medical incident resulting in her vehicle entering the northern shoulder.

The vehicle rolled over into a ditch next to the shoulder before coming to a position of uncontrolled rest approximately five feet off the road.

Williams was transported by Charlotte Fire and Rescue to the University of Vermont Medical Center for injuries.

State Police was assisted at the scene by Charlotte Fire and Rescue and Handy’s Towing.
