POWNAL — Police are investigating a burglary that occurred in Pownal on August 26.
Authorities were notified of a burglary complaint at the Winchester’s Store on US Route 7 at around 1:10 a.m.
Police say the store had been forcibly entered sometime during the night and several items were taken from inside.
