Teenager charged in Manchester stabbing investigation

MANCHESTER –– An 18-year-old male remains in serious but stable condition following a stabbing incident that happened on August 31, police reported.

Manchester Police said the incident occurred around 9:20 p.m. in the area of 300 Elm St.

According to responding officers, an argument began between occupants of two vehicles on 293 North near South Willow St.

The vehicles took the Granite St exit and parked off Elm St, where the conflict escalated into violence.

The 18-year-old victim sustained life-threatening injuries and is currently being treated at a local hospital.

During their investigation, police identified a 16-year-old male suspect and charged him with first-degree assault.
