NASHUA –– A 22-year-old woman from Haverhill, Massachusetts has been arrested and charged in connection with a large-scale underwear theft, according to the Nashua Police Department.
Jada Cruz was taken into custody on August 29, with the help of the Merrimack Police Department.
She was arrested on an outstanding felony warrant for theft.
The arrest stems from an April 4, 2023 incident at the Victoria’s Secret store located at 310 Daniel Webster Highway in Nashua.
Police reported that three individuals entered the shop and stole 140 items, collectively valued at $5,593.
Following an intensive investigation by Nashua detectives, Cruz was identified as one of the suspects.
An arrest warrant was subsequently issued and Cruz now faces charges.
After her arrest, Cruz was released on personal recognizance.
She is scheduled for arraignment in the Hillsborough County Superior Court – South on September 28.
