Hit-and-run involving motorcycle leaves one seriously injured in Nashua

NASHUA –– A serious motorcycle hit-and-run occurred on the F.E. Everett Turnpike North on August 29, leaving one person with major injuries, according to New Hampshire State Police.

At about 6:13 p.m., Troopers, Nashua Fire Department and EMS responded to reports of a motorcycle crash near mile marker 2.

Upon arrival, they discovered a black 2007 Harley Davidson motorcycle had been hit by another vehicle, which fled the scene.

The motorcyclist was transported to Southern New Hampshire Medical Center with serious injuries.

Traffic on the turnpike was reduced to one lane for approximately an hour following the incident.

The investigation into the crash continues, with authorities yet to identify the driver of the second vehicle. Police are appealing to the public for any information related to the incident.

They are especially interested in speaking with anyone who may have witnessed the crash, passed through the scene with a dash camera, or noticed any unusual driving behavior prior to the incident.
