Head-on collision in Hollis leaves two injured

HOLLIS –– Two people were injured Wednesday in a head-on collision involving a Ford Focus and a Honda CRV on Proctor Hill Road, according to local authorities.

The crash occurred near the 200 block of Proctor Hill Road at 10:58 a.m. and prompted responses from the Hollis Police Department and Hollis Fire Department.

Michael Bell, 22, was driving the 2011 Ford Focus westbound when he crossed the double yellow lines and collided with the Honda CRV traveling eastbound.

Bell, the sole occupant of the vehicle, was transported by the Hollis Fire Department to St. Joseph’s Hospital for non-life threatening injuries.

Jennifer Bryant, 50, was driving the Honda CRV.

She was also transported to Southern New Hampshire Medical Center for non-life threatening injuries.

Both drivers were wearing their seatbelts at the time of the crash.

The Hollis Police Department is investigating all aspects of the crash, including possible contributing factors.
