Man found with fentanyl after crash in Elmore

ELMORE — A 45-year-old man from Hardwick was arrested following an incident in Elmore yesterday.

Authorities say they were notified of a vehicle that was off the road in a field on Route 12/Lacasse Road at around 7:40 a.m.

Police say a deputy with the Lamoille County Sheriff Department arrived on the scene and identified the man as Reuben Adams.

Adams was found to be in possession of a large amount of fentanyl and violating multiple conditions of release.

He was placed in custody without incident and transported to the Morristown Police Department for processing.

He was lodged at Northeast Correctional Complex in St. Johnsbury.
