Fair Haven resident arrested for disorderly conduct, violating protective order

FAIR HAVEN –– A local woman was arrested Friday for disorderly conduct and breaching a protective order, according to Fair Haven police.

Stacey L. Walker, 57, of Airport Road, was taken into custody on Aug. 25, following a police investigation into a reported dispute.

Police were initially summoned to Airport Road on July 20, over a reported dispute.

On investigation, police discovered that Walker had made contact with a person she was ordered not to communicate with.

Walker reportedly left the scene at the time of the initial incident.

The charges against Walker include violation of a relief from abuse order, night-time noise disturbance, and disorderly conduct.

Walker has been issued a citation to appear in Rutland District Court to answer to the charges.

The case was investigated by Chief William Humphries and Patrol Officer Cheri McDermott of the Fair Haven Police Department.
