Crash with injuries on I-91 in Bradford

BRADFORD — A 21-year-old man from Connecticut was involved in a single-vehicle crash in Bradford on August 14.

The crash took place on I-91 at around 2:45 p.m.

According to the report, James Murphy III, of Darien, CT, was traveling north on the interstate.

The vehicle left the east side of the interstate and continued traveling north in the median.

Police say the vehicle traveled between the two bridges of the north and southbound lanes and over the embankment where it fell approximately 30 feet.

The vehicle struck the ground and rolled over the guard rail before coming to rest in the middle of Vermont Route 25.

Police say Murphy and his juvenile sister sustained non-life-threatening injuries and were transported to Dartmouth Hitchcock Medical Center.
