CHESTERFIELD –– A rollover truck accident that injured three people is under investigation by local authorities.
The incident occurred Wednesday, August 23, 2023, with emergency personnel from both the Chesterfield Police Department and Fire Department responding to the scene on Route 63 near Gateway Drive.
A Continental Paving truck was traveling northbound on Route 63 when the driver lost control, causing the vehicle to roll down the west side embankment.
The truck’s three occupants sustained non-life-threatening injuries and were transported to Cheshire Medical Center by ambulance.
Police are still investigating the cause of the accident, but initial findings suggest speed may have been a factor.
The identities of the victims are being withheld until family members have been notified.
