Williamstown man facing charges after cutting power to ex-girlfriend’s home

CHELSEA — A 37-year-old man from Williamstown is facing charges following an incident in Chelsea yesterday.

Police say Christopher Wood arrived at the home of his ex-girlfriend at around 4:00 p.m.

While at the home, police say Wood cut the power to the house and unlawfully entered the residence through a window.

Wood eventually left and was taken into custody by troopers from the Berlin barracks.

He was transported to the Royalton State Police barracks for processing.

He was lodged at Southern State Correctional Facility with a citation to appear in court today to answer to the charges of unlawful trespass, and interference with access to emergency services.
