Lyndon man arrested after high-speed chase on Route 122

LYNDON –– A 34-year-old Lyndon resident, Christopher Degreenia, was arrested after a high-speed chase involving multiple law enforcement agencies on Aug. 23 at 12:15 a.m on Route 122.

Lyndonville Police officers, along with Vermont State Police and other local law enforcement agencies, pursued Degreenia as he drove off I-91 exit 23 and through the town of Lyndon before eventually wrecking his Nissan.

After the crash, he was arrested by troopers on the scene.

A Drug Recognition Expert from the Lyndonville Police Department was then called in to conduct a Drug Influence Evaluation on Degreenia.

Following the evaluation, an evidentiary blood draw was taken for lab analysis.

Degreenia has been cited for his second DUI violation, this time related to drugs.

He is scheduled to appear in Caledonia Superior Court for an arraignment on Oct. 30, 2023, at 8:30 a.m.
