MANCHESTER –– A man suffering from stab wounds was found in the lobby of the Residence Inn at 40 Lake Ave early Monday morning, prompting an active investigation by the Manchester Police.
The incident occurred on August 21, 2023, around 6:10 a.m. when the police responded to a reported stabbing.
The male victim, whose injuries are still being assessed, was immediately taken to a local hospital for treatment.
Upon investigating, police traced the origin of the stabbing to the Christos Kalivas Hi-Rise Apartment Building.
The victim reportedly walked to the hotel after the incident. The authorities have stated that this was not a random act of violence and all parties involved have been identified.
The ongoing investigation has led to the closure of several roads.
