SOUTH BURLINGTON — A 42-year-old woman from Northfield was cited for leaving the scene of an accident in South Burlington.
On August 16, authorities say they were notified of a minor two-vehicle collision that occurred on I-89 south at around 7:05 p.m.
According to the report, Sophie Peacock, 26, of Foxborough, MA, was struck from behind causing damages by another vehicle.
Police say the driver of the other vehicle left the scene of the accident.
There were no injuries sustained from the collision.
Following an investigation, police say that the driver of the other vehicle was identified as Amy Atwood.
Atwood arrived at the Vermont State Police Berlin barracks yesterday and was issued a citation to appear in court on September 28 to answer to the charge.
