Authorities say they were notified of a vehicle that crashed into a picnic table on Sand Hill Road at around 6:20 p.m.

Police say the caller was able to provide a description of the vehicle.

Shortly thereafter, police located the vehicle traveling on Route 14, and initiated a traffic stop.

The driver was identified as Nicholas Goodrum, 34, of Bennington, who was placed under arrest for DUI.
