NEWPORT — A 32-year-old woman from Derby was involved in a crash in Newport on Saturday.
Authorities were notified of a single-vehicle crash in the area of Route 105 and Perrault Road at around 10:50 p.m.
Police say that the driver, identified as Kristie Bergeron, had veered across both lanes of travel before leaving the road.
It was found that after leaving the road, Bergeron’s vehicle continued several hundred feet before coming to rest in thick vegetation.
Police say Bergeron was not injured during the incident.
